Birthdays Never Get Old at the Museum of Nature & Science!
It’s your big day-so you get to choose from several brilliantly original birthday experiences. Packages also include a private party room, museum admission for each guest, free parking, and a party host. But, since we’re better scientists than chefs-parents provide the cake, snacks, drinks, and party supplies. Table-top decorations are welcome.

Under the Sea
Ages 3-8

Come party with the creatures that call the ocean home. Discover fascinating facts about fish, crabs, and dolphins; then create a keepsake craft. MNS permanent exhibits included after the party.

Sesame Street’s Big Bird’s Adventure
Ages 2-6
Weekdays and Weekends: $300 members/ $340 non-members
40 children and adults – any combination
Join Big Bird, Elmo and Hu Hu Zhu on a trip to the moon! The 20 minute Portable Universe movie follows Sesame Street’s Big Bird and friends as they explore the night sky and take an imaginary trip to the moon. Enjoy a private showing in the Portable Universe dome, and then step out for a craft and socializing in the party room.

Party Animal
Ages 2-4

Celebrate your big day with your favorite animal! Choose from popular themes like cool cows, magnificent monkeys or fun frogs. Then, enjoy coordinating events where you’ll learn neat facts about each animal, along with stories, crafts, singing and hands-on play.

Young paleontologists will love this dino-mite party filled with dinosaur facts and volcanic eruptions! Each member of your crew will create a fossil cast to help them remember the special day. After the party, you may choose to visit the newly relocated dinosaur dig.

More than a pigment of your imagination-it’s a celebration of illumination as you discover the relationship between color and light! Use a prism to create a vibrant rainbow of light and experiment with mixing paints to design your own colorful craft.

See what all the bugs are about! Live insects, a trip to the Explore Your Backyard exhibit, and a creepy-crawly craft will create quite a buzz. Bet you never knew that spiders, flies, and bugs of all kinds could be so much fun!
Totally Mad Scientists
Ages 8-10

It’s insanely fun as our own scientific geniuses combine creativity and ingenuity to dazzle you with fun, safe experiments. Then, you get to go a little crazy and create your own project to take home.
Museum Mystery

To secure your reservation and avoid cancellation, a $50 deposit is due within 4 days of booking your birthday party. Full payment is due two weeks prior to the party date. The museum accepts MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can mail your check to:

Cancellations: A full refund will be given for cancellations up to two weeks prior to the party date. Birthday parties cancelled less than two weeks before the party date will forfeit the $50 deposit. All other funds will be returned.
